She hid her face under the pillow.
The door was locked,
The only thing open was the window.
She was silently screaming,
And praying for help.
Her eyes were red,
Of colour of hate she felt.
It was time for her to see
That her childhood was over long ago
And why she just couldn't be.
She cried all night long
Her heart gave up saying everything was going wrong.
She understood that time,
No longer could she be so strong.
With tears in her eyes
She saw feelings she couldn't show
With tears in her eyes
She told herself
To let it all go.
